Healthcare: Conservative pundits enraged; polls say Obama won.

RCP has incorporated poll data since the health insurance ruling, and an interesting thing happened: polls show Mitt losing ground.  And while Mitt seemed to close the gap before the current trend, for the last 45 days Mitt hasn't been on top of a single poll.  You should really pay attention to that last part, because it hasn't been something that pundits have talked about at all.

Pundits have insisted that conservatives have been politically motivated by the ruling, but the polls show Americans are increasingly willing to embrace a moderate stance -- the stance that Mitt once stood upon but has since vacated, in order to get the GOP nomination.

Americans may be wondering why can't we first test out Obamacare, to see if anything good can come of it, then modify it as needed?  After all, what good does it do to repeal something that hasn't yet taken a hold and been tested in the real world, only to be replaced by empty rhetoric and zero reform?
