Romney: It's a tax, no a penalty, no it's whatever I say it is.

Oh my.  Mitt's gotten his mittens in deep in just the last three days.
"The governor disagreed with the ruling of the court. He agreed with the dissent written by Justice Scalia, which very clearly stated that the mandate was not a tax." -1
"Massachusetts’ mandate was a mandate, was a penalty, was described that way by the Legislature and by me, and so it stays as it was." -2
"Obamacare’s a tax. Like it or not, it’s a tax." -3
"Governor Romney thinks it (Obamacare) is an unconstitutional penalty." -4
First Mitt agreed that it was not a tax; then he stated that it was a tax; then he believed it was an unconstitutional penalty; then he clearly stated that it was a tax; to top it all off, he insists that because he and the Mass legislature described the mandate as a penalty, it stays a penalty.

Crazy, right?  Or was that crazy Right?
