2013 Feb PDX: Lots of rainy days, not so much water.

It was a modest February, with just 1.26" of rain (4th driest on record), but we had measurable precipitation on 20 out of 28 days -- a lot of drizzling showers, but not a lot of water.

I'm sure come Spring and the Spring melt, the rivers will go up, but today the Willamette River looked like it normally does in late Summer.

Usually this area is covered in water in February.

This is how it usually looks in August, not February.
