- Mitt is for government spending AND against government spending:
- Mitt falsely says that Obama was constantly bringing down GDP -- not true at all, and he's going to get dinged for this outright fabrication, as anyone can point to the actual GDP numbers;
- Mitt says that he's against defense spending because of the harm it would do to the economy -- government spending IS Keynesian;
- Mitt says he's against trying to balance the budget in 1 year or 4 years -- government spending is Keynesian.
- Mitt insists that, despite the evidence by many, he will not cut taxes on the richest Americans:
- He will cut marginal taxes on the richest Americans;
- He will make up the difference by cutting loopholes;
- He can't identify what those loopholes are, because the truth is, it can't be done when you cut the marginal tax rate from 35% to 25%.
- Refuses to answer the question of whether or not he'd help work to overturn Roe v. Wade, even though he states that he would like to see Roe v. Wade overturned;
- Thus to translate politispeak, "Why yes David, I will do everything to overturn Roe v. Wade, but I want to seem as inoffensive as possible to potential women voters before I act to overturn Roe v. Wade."
- Mitt's against Obamacare, with the following exceptions:
- He's for people buying insurance on the open market -- or just like Obamacare, just not Obama;
- He's for covering pre-existing medical conditions -- or exactly like Obamacare, just not Obama;
- He's for allowing young adults to remain on their parent's insurance -- or exactly like Obamacare, just not Obama.
Two year old Stuart Carlson cartoon -- just replace angry white man with...Mitt. |
