ADP: August employment up / What's the new GOP strategy?

The August 2012 ADP Employment Report is up, and surprise...August had a gain of 201,000 jobs.  Better yet, July's report was adjusted upward from 163,000 to 173,000.

This past Sunday, Newt Gingrich -- in all of his prophetic idiocy -- offered this:
"Obama has a hard sell over the next two months.  And I think the biggest event next week won’t be his speech Thursday.  It will be the Friday morning jobs’ report.  And if that Friday morning jobs’ report is bad, it will drown his speech.  Much-- they want to talk about Eastwood.  Friday morning jobs’ report is a lot bigger event next week than Clint Eastwood was last week."
Indeed Newt, the question should be, what will YOU be saying when the BLS releases Friday's jobs report?  I'll put it this way: the news story will be, how the BLS upwardly revised the July report, just as ADP has done, and August's report will be impressive albeit still weak, considering the slowdown in Europe (due to austerity) and China (due to internal policy changes).

Who am I kidding...Newt's going to harp on about how Mitt would create 12 million new jobs.
