Love this story on Stuxnet.

Wired's got a very lengthy, detailed story about Stuxnet, and how researchers from different parts of the world were able to unravel the complexities of Stuxnet, to discover its intent.  Though it required the involvement of people with varied expertise from around the world, the primary team consisted of three Symantic employees working full time around the clock to decipher the virus.

It shows that any group, willing to put resources into a project, can either build a sophisticated virus or deconstruct the same sophisticated virus.  Seriously great read.
