New England Journal of Medicine has the set up: A 69 year old man who was a delivery truck driver for 28 years, shows asymmetric facial features, due to one side of his face receiving sunlight from his driver-side window.
Here's my take: photoshopping each of the two sides to provide symmetrical exposure / appearances, makes the actual (third) image more shocking. It's a reminder that sun damage is real, if not realized until it is too late.

Image 1 -- reflected this man's undamaged side of his face. Taut cheek bones, yes? |

Image 2 -- reflected this man's damaged side of his face. Wrinkly chap, eh? |
|
Image 3 -- this man's actual face, unedited. Whoa!?! |

I live in Florida and it's so hard to get people to understand how much damage the sun can cause to their skin. It's especially hard to get youth to understand that if they keep up their bad sun habits, they'll look 50 when they're only 30.
Thanks for spreading the word about sun-damaged skin!
