According to the Oregonian, a very unlucky man was struck by Friday afternoon's lightning cluster, on the Wildwood Trail in Forest Park, and today was downgraded to critical condition. He is unlucky, because most of the Wildwood Trail has a canopy comprised of large sections with second-growth and small stands of old-growth trees. Of all the trees to pull down that electrical strike, he stood next to the wrong tree. Bum deal.
Of course you know what comes to mind every time a cluster of lightning comes through. Poltergeist.
