Pet peeve: a spell checking dictionary that requires adding words.

While using the Chrome browser, I keep my spell-checker turned on; apparently most of the world doesn't.  As a result, a pet peeve rears its head every week: I have to add words to its limited dictionary.

"Incongruent" was today's missing word.

I say, chaps, I shiver at the thought of imposing upon your fine work, but would you consider the folly of paying the fine gentlemen and gentlewomen at William-Webster, to access their database of the English language dictionary? [mock British tone]
