Met someone volunteering while going home, who said she had just moved from Pennsylvania. She commented that she loved the mail-in ballots in Oregon, compared to waiting in line, in rain, at local precincts.
I wholeheartedly agree; the comfort of sitting at home, going through the ballot while reading the voter's guide pamphlet, maybe with coffee in hand -- you can't beat that.
