Android = 48%
iPhone = 19%
Microsoft = 1%
Note: Symbian dropped to third globally, but no figures were given in Canalys' press release.
Some eye-popping numbers include Android's 85% market share in South Korea, 71% in Taiwan, and #1 in 35 of the 56 markets Canalys tracks. Those numbers make a lot of sense, considering Android market leaders are Samsung (South Korea) and HTC (Taiwan).
