Don't do this: Man eats bugs for contest...dies.

A guy enters a live-roach (and other bugs) eating contest, and wins.  But before he can claim his prize, he starts to throw up, then keels over, dead as a doorknob.

It may be entirely coincidental that he happened to puke then die.

Or it may be that, in his haste to eat as many bugs as possible, he didn't do one crucial thing: CHEW.

Either way, if you don't like eating bugs (and therefore feel sick to your stomach just thinking about the squirming things going down your throat), I strongly suggest you don't eat bugs.

Survivalists will tell you to eat bugs if you're stuck in the middle of nowhere and lost, but if you're going to puke it right up, there's no point to it.  Find yourself some lovely pine nuts, tree fern fronds, or flower petals (so long as they don't have a milky sap!) instead.

Mmm, a tasty smorgasbord!
