Pretty slick: Google Maps with live public transit. Works on both desktops and mobile, and doesn't require updates to your mobile app. (The mobile one is a bit slicker, I think.) Of course, if you haven't been to Portland lately, updated information along the the transit mall in downtown, and along the Max and Streetcar stops are real-time updates.
I personally use an app called AnyStop, to quickly pull up Streetcar times in live updates. It's a lot faster than getting Maps to load, so I'll probably stick to AnyStop, but this is definitely a nice thing to have.
