Galaxy Tab 10.1 with Honeycomb 3.1 up for pre-order.

Just noticed Best Buy's got the Galaxy Tab 10.1 up for pre-orders.  Priced to match the iPad2, it's 3/8" thick and 1.3 pounds in weight.  Next week, the Toshiba Thrive will be available for pre-orders.  Unlike the Tab, it is .62" thick and weighs 1.6 pounds, which comes closer to matching the original iPad's specs in that regard.

Both will have 3.1 Honeycomb, but significantly, the Tab requires an accessory connector to hook up to USB or HDMI, and like most of the other tablets, the battery is not user-replaceable, whereas the Thrive does have a user-replaceable battery and full size HDMI and USB connectors.  Oh yeah, and the Thrive will be $20 cheaper on matching memory (16GB / 32GB) models.  I'm leaning towards the Toshiba model, but a 3/8" tablet is crazy thin.

I actually like the idea of replaceable back plates on the Thrive.
