But I thought you said the beta test was over?

Nokia's gone done it again.  This time, Nokia's had to fix a purple screen bug in the Lumia 900.

Read up that original source for the report -- a few users have gone through multiple 900 phones trying to find one that doesn't have the problem.

Of course if you do have the purple screen bug and you don't want to go in to replace it, you'll have to wait for Nokia to issue the fix in a future update -- they've resolved the issue, but will issue the fix as part of a larger update.  And that means that you'll have to go through their de rigueur methodology yet again.

It makes one wonder what is going on with Nokia.  The other Lumia phones didn't suffer from a string of flaws like the 900 has, which seems to point to quite a bit of recoding between each new model.

The beta test is definitely NOT over for Nokia, eh?
