2012 March comScore: US Android army growing.

comScore released its March 2012 US smart phone market share numbers.

Despite reports of over half of AT&T and Verizon's sales going to Apple's iPhone in the last quarter (or two), it hasn't affected market share overall.  This seems to mean that the overwhelming majority of those sales were to existing iPhone owners.  It also seems to point to the popularity of unlocked Android phones outside of carrier sales, aka Galaxy Nexus.

Total Smartphone Subscribers 100.0% 100.0% N/A
Google 47.3% 51.0% 3.7
Apple 29.6% 30.7% 1.1
RIM 16.0% 12.3% -3.7
Microsoft 4.7% 3.9% -0.8

RIM continued to lose market share, while WP remained at 3.9% -- perhaps a bottom?  Maybe those ads are making a difference, but they aren't taking much - if any - market share from Google or Apple.
