Some misreporting of the solar storm headed towards the Earth.

I was listening in to this morning's news on the TV, and they misreported today's large storm.  They presumed that the report form the other day about a glancing blow of an X-1 rated storm had somehow changed and was now larger.

Not true.

In fact, that was a storm from March 5th and a completely separate one from March 7th's X-5 storm that is now reaching the Earth.

This one's not a glancing blow -- it's a direct hit.

Three days ago there was an X-1, yesterday there was an X-5.
