As expected, the effective price of Autocad LT 2011 has dropped, as Autodesk has introduced a $300 mail in rebate. While I'm no fan of mail in rebates, saving $300 is most certainly worth it.

It's worth noting, that the price will end up fluctuating, if the past is any sign of what will happen in the future. Between now and July 16 (end of rebate program) the price could very likely end up dropping lower than the current $1070 ceiling.
