I sideloaded some creative commons ePubs, via Dropbox, onto my Nexus 7. The problem is, the Google Play reader does not allow for sideloaded books; you have to find an app to read ePubs that are sideloaded.
Both the Kobo and Nook readers require an account, which is not something I'm interested in. After all, ebooks and emagazines are -- for now -- priced the same, regardless of whether you're on Kindle, Nook, Kobo or Google. And I hate the idea of creating extra accounts, anyway.
The
Aldiko reader is free, and naturally, a full-featured reader. It has a night / day feature, font and margin adjustment, brightness, background and font color adjustment...just about everything you'd want in an ereader.
