They really jacked up the price for what is literally an interim update, or as I like to call it, CS5.0+missing stuff (HTML5 support, mobile support).
If you bought CS5.0 (any of the collections), you have to pay $399. If you have any of the CS4 collections, you have to pay $649.
But of course, now that they're going to 24-month update cycles, what they're really doing here, is introducing 5.5 at the 12-month cycle, and looking to extract more money from people who bought into the Adobe ecosystem.
I call shenanigans.
I'm still going to wait at least until April 2012 to upgrade to CS6, or the point which they discount CS6 upgrades by $100.
